In Barcelona’s shopping streets you’ll find shops of all the known Spanish fashion companies like Zara, Adolfo Dominguez, Massimo Dutti and others. But the city is also the birthplace of brands like Mango, a giant in Catalan fashion. Another example of the big success on the catwalk is Custo Barcelona, who opened many shops not only in Spain but also abroad. Other prominent names of fashion designers in Barcelona are Antonio Miró, Joaquim Verdú, TCN, and Armand Basi. Luckily prices aren’t as high as in other European capitals. Barcelona’s most important fashion event is the Pasarela Gaudí in competition with Madrid’s Pasarela Cibeles.
