Do I need to take my voucher on my Urban Adventure?
Yes, you will need to present your voucher to your guide at the beginning of your trip as proof of your booking. In the event there is an age limit on your trip you may need to provide personal ID that proves your and your fellow travellers age.
Do I need to wait for a confirmation from Urban Adventures after I have made a booking?
Urban Adventures provide instant confirmation of your trip. After your booking you will be emailed a voucher to the email account you included in your booking. Please ensure you print this off and take it with you on your trip as you will need to provide this to your guide at the beginning of your trip.
Do I need to confirm my Urban Adventure?
We ask that you contact the Urban Adventure Partner 24 hours prior to your Urban Adventure to confirm the details. The phone number and contact hours will appear on your voucher.
What is the cancellation policy for Urban Adventures?
Urban Adventures can be cancelled up to and including 2 days prior to the date of the trip. Any cancellations made 2 days or less before the date of the trip is subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
How do I amend or make changes to an existing booking?
You will be able to use our ‘Traveller Corner’ on the Urban Adventures home page (in the top right corner) to make changes or edit your existing booking. This includes the addition of extra people to your booking. Your request will then be sent to our local partner, who will respond within 24 hours. Alternatively, you may wish to call the local partner if your changes are within 48 hours of adventure departure date. These details will be in your booking voucher.
How do I cancel an existing booking?
You will be able to use our ‘Traveller Corner’ on the Urban Adventures home page to cancel all, or part, of your booking. Your request will then be sent to our local partner, who will respond within 24 hours. Alternatively, you may wish to call the local partner if your changes are within 48 hours of adventure departure date. These details will be in your booking voucher. Please be aware that cancellations within 48 hours of departure date will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
How do I register to receive the Urban Adventures newsletter?
You can register by going to our home page and adding your email address to our ‘newsletter subscribe’ section. To keep your finger on the daily pulse of the Urban Adventure world including exclusive access to discounts and giveaways be sure to "like" our Facebook page
What is the maximum group size?
Urban Adventures have a maximum group size of 12 passengers. This keeps the groups to a level that does not result in overwhelming the destination you visit and ensures that you are able to have a real experience on your trip by immersing yourself in the local environment. On extremely rare occassions there may be slightly more passengers. In these cases we will try to contact you beforehand to let you know.
What if I have any unforeseen problems during my adventure?
Please talk to your guide. They are well trained in running all adventures in a safe manner. If you have any safety, or other personal concerns your guide will be able to provide assistance. If for any reason you are not happy with the outcome, please add this to your feedback, or contact us at info@urbanadventures.com.
Is tipping common place in other parts of the world?
Yes, tipping is commonplace in most parts of the world. Although our trips are inclusive of all costs, and we ensure our guides and local staff are paid fairly, tips are always welcome.
How do I provide feedback after my Urban Adventure?
An email will be sent automatically to you asking for some very brief feedback on your adventure. We welcome all comments, and appreciate you taking the time to respond. You can also contact us by email at info@urbanadventures.com.
Where can I send photos to after my trip?
We would love to share your photos of your adventure. If you have photos that you would like to submit to Urban Adventures after you have completed your trip, please attach them to an email and send them to info@urbanadventures.com.
